PIARC Switzerland organizes every autumn a conference about current topics. International experts are regularly invited to speak about the views and methods applied in their countries.
WORLD CONGRESSES
Since the first World Road Congress held in Paris in 1908, a World Road Congress has been organized every four years in a member country in order to promote the worldwide exchange of information about new techniques and experiences in the field of road infrastructures and transport.
As a complement to the World Road Congress, an international PIARC congress dedicated to winter road maintenance has been organized every four years since 1969.
