World Congress on Road Winter Service, Resilience and Decarbonisation – Chambéry 2026

The World Congress on Road Winter Service, Resilience and Decarbonisation took place from 10 to 13 March 2026 in Chambéry, France. FEDRO and PIARC Switzerland were represented with an exhibition stand and two presentations:

  • Focus of exhibition stand: ‘Decarbonised winter service’ and ‘Decarbonisation at FEDRO’
  • Presentations: ‘Big picture: decarbonisation in road transport and maintenance in Switzerland’ and ‘Examples of decarbonisation in everyday life and on construction sites’

The exhibition stand consisted of three steles (including two screens and a touchscreen), a counter and a storage room, all of which displayed content on both the front and rear sides. The exhibition stand presented facts and figures about FEDRO, along with background information on decarbonisation efforts (e-trucks, charging infrastructure, Wallisellen maintenance centre, photovoltaic systems). Switzerland also participated in the World Snowplow Championship.
